Hobby Town racing June 22

While driving to the track a very heavy storm hit our area and I thought all racing would be cancelled.  By the time we got to the track, the rain was already getting lighter and soon the sun was back up. We started about two hours late and ran two qualifiers instead of three.  During the first qualifier, I finalised the tuning of my car coming to the pit 4 times.  In the second qualifier I got the TQ which was nice.

The start of the main was very slow with many cars stalling and needing to be restarted. By the time, things got started,  I unfortunately had fuel on my car which went to my tires in the first corner. On the first lap I got involved in pretty much every incident on the track. :-(  Things improved after that and I was able to come back to 2nd place half way into this short 5mn main.  Brian Bosley also on Twister tires was too far ahead and we were going at pretty much the same pace.  I wish we had stayed closer as it would have made for a nice race.
