Lonestar Race 2 Austin May 4th

After a couple of difficult week ends, it all came together and I won the Lonestar series race 2 in Austin in the Nitro class.  Finding the right setup was difficult and I only qualified 4th but when the main came my car was hooked and I had a great fight with Tommy Porfirio as our cars were never more than a few seconds apart.  Tommy had the TQ but I was very fast and kept on catching him. I passed him twice but could not make it stick until late in the race when I was able to pass again and put a few seconds between us. 

I finished 2nd in the 19T class after qualifying 4th. Once again, I had a fast car but just could not pass on this short 5 minutes race.  A brush with the wall also put me back a few seconds and too far from Paul who nicely won the race.

Ophelie completes our great day at the track with a second place in the junior class only 5 seconds behind Josh.
